General Terms and Definition of Use

Equipment Use
Customers shall re-imburse Moverley Demolition and Skip Hire in respect of any loss or damage to skips whilst on hire to them from whatsoever cause that the same may arise (fair wear and tear accepted). In particular customers undertake:

• Not to light fires in the skip or burn anything there in
• Not to place any corrosive acid or noxious substance nor liquid cement or concrete in the skip
• Ensure that the skip is not filled above the level of the sides thereof
• To pay extra expense and costs including possibly a new container which may result from non-observance of the above

Skips must be sited on private property. Skips sited on the road require a permit.

Section 3
Consequential Losses
Moverley Demolition and Skip Hire shall not be liable for any consequential losses, expenses, liabilities, claims or proceedings howsoever caused by, or arising out of, the late delivery, non-delivery, or unsuitability of the equipment.
Liability is not accepted for damage caused to driveways footpaths etc by the placement of skips.

Section 4
Restricted materials
Restricted materials must not be included without prior notice. Such hazardous waste will included;

• Asbestos
• Tyres
• Fridges and freezers
• Batteries
• Gas bottles
• Florescent light tubes
• Computer monitors and televisions
• Solvents
• Liquids
• Oil
• Clinical/Medical waste
• Paint cans (full)
• Hazardous/Toxic material

Surcharges will apply where these items have been deposited without permission of Moverley Demolition and Skip Hire. Additional charges apply for removal of such waste. Prior notice is required hazardous waste removal.

Section 5
Methods of Payment
Methods of payment accepted are;

• Credit Cards: Visa, Mastercard, Maestro
• Cheques with a cheque guarantee card
